What is BADASG?
BADASG is the Bradford And District Autistic Support Group. It was set up as a registered charity in 1989 by a group of parents who wanted to see more provision for children on the autistic spectrum in Bradford. Since then BADASG has expanded and we now run a number of activities for children on the autistic spectrum and their families. When the group was first set up, parents ran the activities themselves and hired out community halls to facilitate the activities. Today we have our own centre, the Autism Support Centre, near the centre of Bradford, three permanent staff, and a number of committed volunteers who support the staff in making our activities possible. We also work alongside a number of partner organisations to provide our services.
